The bike was first registered on 27.Jan.2005. The roadtax is only RM2 per year and the insurance for sum insured of RM2,800 with a RM100 excess clause was RM280. This bike was purchased from Kee Kee Motor Sdn Bhd at RM3,200 with a 3 months warranty for the engine.

I added a Coocase Reflex 50L using a Givi rack for RM480. New front tyres cost me RM90. Found out that Kee Kee Motor punched holes in the air-filter, so I bought a new air-filter for RM35. The bike couldn’t start after using it for 3 days and Kee Kee Motor replaced the starter motor FOC.

For personal protection, I got Pro-Biker gloves for RM20, a LS2 OF547 twin visor helmet for RM165, an AlpineStar padded mesh jacket for RM150 and Pro-Biker boots for RM150, Givi raincoat for RM100.

Didn’t try the maximum speed as advertised. Maybe don’t have the guts or don’t feel safe at that speed!

Update: 13.Jun.2012 ~ Changed my rear tyre to a Taiwanese one which cost me RM90 after the old one went flat with a puncture. Also changed the inlet valve for RM10. This was done at a motorbike shack located opposite Shell Service Station in Section 17, P.J.

Update: 30.Jun.2012 ~ Since I was about to go on a long journey to Gua Musang, I decided to changed the head-light bulb. Someone recommended the HID system which cost RM150 in MacDonas at Jalan Ipoh. Went there, they didn’t have stock and told me to try Chuan Motors in PJ. So I went to Chuan Motors and the mechanic suggested that the Vespa “Super-White” 12v 35w/35w halogen bulb would be quite good. Saw him fitting the bulb into my headlights and tried the very same night to see if it was better than the original bulb. It was certainly better. The point of focus was more centralized and very much brighter. Cost me RM18. I think I’ll stick with this bulb.
